When we read about having courage in scripture, it is usually accompanied with assurance of God being with us. It’s normal to feel scared, but we aren’t alone. Have the courage and faith to do what God has called you to do.

My best doesn’t have to be the best. It is best to be obedient to the Holy Spirit at work in our own lives. We must trust the Holy Spirit to speak to others. We can’t be another person’s conscience.

Wisdom is a heart issue. We have to stop trying to figure out what we are going to do. We have to ask God, like Paul did in Acts 22:10, “What should I do, Lord?” Then we can teach and reach others.

To know what obedience looks like for you, ask God and then follow through like Paul and Ananias both did. Ananias had reason to be afraid, but he chose to love and obey. He showed his love for God through obedience. He showed his love for people by accepting Paul.
